Taste as a Moat: The Only Asset AI Can’t Fork

The most common question VCs ask in the AI space is: "What is your moat?”

At SENSUM, our thesis is that Human Taste is the only non-fungible asset left in the digital economy.

AI is an "Average Machine." By definition, Large Language Models predict the most likely next token based on a massive average of human history. AI can be "good," but it can rarely be "edgy," "counter-cultural," or "revoluntionary" on its own. It needs a human to push it to the fringe.

We are building tools that treat "Taste" as a data point. In the Sensum ecosystem, a creator’s "Taste" is their reputation score. When a creator selects an AI-generated asset and integrates it into a larger story, they are staking their reputation on that choice.

By creating a system where human selection is recorded, attributed, and rewarded, we create a proprietary data loop. The more a creator uses Sensum to curate, the more the system understands their unique aesthetic "fingerprint." This creates a moat that no foundation model can fork: a verified history of human judgment that consistently outperforms the "average" output of a raw AI.
